Lathe grew up in Carson City, Nevada. He came to the east coast in 1993 and after getting married in 1997, Lathe and Elyssia eventually settled in the quintessential New England town of Bethel, CT. He was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2010. Once he learned how common diabetes had become he knew what his next big film project had to be about.
Fun Fact: In his teen years he worked at a candy factory, but ironically, soon learned to avoid chocolate since it triggered his big fat migraines.
Eric grew up in Scituate, Massachussetts and Tampa, Florida with his family. He moved to New York in 1993 and ended up staying for good when he got married in 1998. After several years of IT consulting including projects for Merrill Lynch, Computer Associates and IBM, Eric hung up the pocket protector for a chance to work with Lathe in video production.
Fun Fact: Eric finished 2nd in his 5th grade spelling bee and has never fully recovered from the experience.
In 2004 Lathe and Eric teamed up to form what is now The Scene Lab, a media production company. Their early days together were spent creating web commercials that kept “countless” (at least five) people glued to their seats. Over the next ten years The Scene Lab’s work has taken them all over the world.

Sean Croxton began his journey as a certified personal trainer. After years of study and a litany of classes and course, Sean works with clients to uncover the root cause(s) of their health challenges. He runs the website Underground Wellness which features the Real Food Summit. Fun Fact: He often jokes that he got his Master’s from Amazon.com.
